High Silica Locomotive Sand with Specification - Clean silica sand, free from Clay, Salt, Loams, Mica a nd other foreign materials conforming to AAR SPECIFICATIONS M-916-51(Revised 1994) duly cleaned, sieved, dried and packed in clean good quality Nylon gunny bag of size 19 inch x 15 inch, (Weighing 35GM per bag) with polythe ne lamination (of Thickness not less than 25 microns) containing 10kg sand and properly sealed to avoid water entr y and sand should not leak through stitching hole of sand bag. Special Conditions: 1) One Sand sample (at least 1 k g) with Lab test certificate and one empty sample sand bag as per the required specification is to be submitted to t he consignee. 2) The item must be supplied within four months of the issue of the PO. 3) 10000 Sand bags are to b e delivered to Chief crew controller/ Erode @2500bags every month, and 5000 Sand bags are to be delivered to the Chief crew controller/ Salem @1250 bags every month, or as advised by the consignee [ Warranty Period: 12 Mo nths after the date of delivery ] ]
