Expression of Interest are invited for Roadmap to Upscale RE Adoption in Kerala. Publication Date: 20-Oct-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 15-Nov-2022 The consultant will be a firm. Assignment Description : - State Government of Kerala, as part of the resilient Kerala and Navi Kerala 2025, has been in dialogue with the World Bank Group to explore opportunities to develop the states energy sector including attracting private capital investments. Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) under the aegis of Department of Power, Government of Kerala is working on the states transition towards a low carbon economy by exploring sustainable deployment of renewable energy sources such as floating solar for a variety of end-uses including production of Green Hydrogen (GH). World Bank is supporting Kerala to undertake an assessment for setting up floating solar projects on the selected reservoirs, tanks, and other suitable water bodies in the state. The electricity generated through proposed projects would be used for displacing fossil-fuel based energy consumption, production of GH to decarbonize its industry/transport, provide fillip to electric mobility, inter alia
