BOQ Item Description: Dismantling of old earthpits and reconstructing new
earthpits confirming to IS3043 as per Diagram A of
the attachment at the same location where the old
earth pit is positioned or at a nearby place as advised
by the engineer in-charge with new/freshly
purchased materials. Job is for providing earthpits at
our Plant. Scope includes dismantling of earthpit,
excavation, disposal of debris, dressing of soil,
brickwork, providing PVC pipes for entry of
electrodes, providing funnel, 3meterdeep pit
excavation, providing 100mm GI pipe electrode,
filling of charcoal and sand, laying of GI strip and
making necessary connections, plaster, fixing of GI
strips back to the electrode, providing chequered
plate, painting of pit, providing name plate, and all
other associated jobs.
