Description : RADIO FREQUENCY ENDOVENOUS ABLATION EQUIPMENT. (1) RF generator should be compatible with the catheter and deliver radio frequency energy to the catheter. (2) RF generator should operate on temperature range of 100 to 120 degrees. (3) RF generator should be compatible with bipolar catheter. (4) Heating element should be of length 5cm to 8cm. (5) The catheter should be available in variable lengths between 50cm to 120cm. (6) The catheter should be compatible with either 6F or 7F introducer sheath. (7) The catheter should accommodate a guide wire - 0.025" to 0.035" for easy placement in difficult situations. (8) Segmental ablation approach. (9) Patient safety should be ensured by the provision of bipolar catheter. (10) No energy delivery during repositioning of catheter. (11) RF generator should have a FDA/CEA approval for varicose vein treatment. (12) Warranty for two years. (13) CAMC for five years after warranty.
