Pair of welders hand gloves (One pair consist of one LH & one RH) of size large 400+/- 5(18 inches) long to IS-2573/1986 (Reaffirmed)Type-1. confirming totest parameters as per IS:5914-1970 and also confirming to the following parameters 1)The hand with size shall be 5.5 inches (min) and cut off width size 7 inches min.2)The gloves shall be made of split leather 3) The gloves shall be dyed in dark rust/blue/black color.4) Thickness of leather shall be 1.2 mm minimum.5) The leather hand gloves should hard wearing and heat resistance cowhide/buffalo hide.6)The gloves shall be so flexible that user must not feel stiffness while doing continues welding.7) The gloves shall have thins late insulation lining at intermediate and cotton cloth shall be used for hand inner lining and fire resistance cloth for calf portion lining.8) Cotton threads shall be used for stitching purpose, it should be as per IS1720, variety No.29.6 cord and single thread braking load shall not be less than 21.1Newtons.9) The thumb shall be reinforced with a leather strip and stitched with two rows of thread.
