Name Of The Work Major Overhauling Of 02 Nos Kt1150 Engines And 01 Novt28 L Engine Cummin S Make Of San Locomotives Assisting For Dismantling Of Kt1150 And Vt28 L Engines From The Locomotives Joint Inspection Of Testing Of Overhauled Engines Shall Be Conducted Between Kpcl Representative And Firms Representative Joint Inspection Report Of Testing Jirt After Completion Of Re Assembly Shall Be Furnished To This Office Joint Inspection Of Testing May Be Waived Off At The Discretion Of The Undersigned But The Test Report Shall Be Furnished.Removal And Re Installation Of Engine. This Includes The Complete Procedure Of Safely Removing The Engine From The Locomotive And, After Completion Of The Necessary Repair Or Overhaul Work, Re-Mounting The Engine Back Into The Locomotive. All Required Tools, Fixtures, Lifting Mechanisms, And Safety Measures Shall Be Managed By The Vendor.Engine Alignment Process The Alignment Process Involves Precise Positioning And Securing Of The Engine To Ensure Correct Interfacing With The Locomotives Drivetrain Coupling Systems, And Support Structures This Includes, But Is Not Limited To Mounting Of The Engine Onto The Engine Bed Frame Using Proper Alignment Tools And Calibrated Instruments Ensuring Parallelism And Angular Alignment Of The Engine Relative To The Transmission Or Traction System Verifying Coupling Concentricity And Ensuring There Is No Misalignment That May Lead To Premature Wear Vibration Or Operational Issues Tightening Of Mounting Bolts T...
