Inspection & maintenance of track on daily basis which includes one unskilled man will cover one Km track (new line track in mid section/in yards including point and crossings) for inspection, checking of missing ï¬ttings, loose packing, track on bridges, on bridge approaches etc., and will attend the track deï¬ciencies everyday and also attend any other un-usuals as per the instructions of SSE/P.Way. He will keep the section neat & tidy by cleaning the cess, jungle, ballast proï¬ling etc., as per instructions of SSE (P.Way) and will maintain the track as per Indian Railway Permanent Way Manual. (Since one person will cover one Km length of track per day hence unit of bill payment comes out to be- One person per day = Per Track KM).
