Publication Date: 27-Jul-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 10-Aug-2022 ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION IFCa member of the World Bank Groupis the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets.The proposed assignment will be guided and assisted by IFC's Advisory Services in South Asia, particularly the MAS Advisory team. DCM Shriram Limited (DCM) is one of Indias leading business conglomerates with its main business lines:i Agribusiness (fertilizer, seeds, sugar, and trading of Agri inputs); and ii Chloro-Vinyl (caustic soda, chlorine & polyvinyl chloride (PVC).DCM has an ongoing IFC advisory engagement.The specific objectives of the assignment are for Phase 1: Conducting assessments & facilitate implementation in 2 facilities (Hariawan sugar mill with cogeneration power plant & Hariawan distillery) to improve resource efficiency (energy, water) and explore potentials for converting waste to resource and facilitate development of a low-carbon roadmap and GHG target setting (towardsNet Zer0') for the DCM group.
