Escalation Clause : Applicable Yes Escalation Clause Description Parcel Cargo Express train shall be leased out for a period of 6 (Six) years. There would be no escalation in first three years in lumpsum leased freight. An annual escalation of lumpsum leased freight at the rate of 10% per annum on the lumpsum leased freight of the immediate preceding year shall be applicable from the fourth year onwards. Note: The bidders to note that the advertised value of the tender is only for 15 parcel van plus 1 brakevan for 6 years. However, the actual cost will increase since: 1) After first 6 months, the composition of PCET will be 20 parcel van plus 1 brakevan, thus increasing the lumpsum leased freight proportionately. 2) From 4th year onwards, 10% escalation on the lumpsum leased freight for the preceding year will be applicable. 3) Also, Development charge @ 2% and GST as applicable have not been included in the Advertised value. These will be levied separately.
