1.Wadilube Installation is BPCL's biggest lube oil blending and filling plant. The plant handles approx 170 TMT of various grades of Lube oils. The plant process consists of blending and filling of Lubricants in small packs and barrels. The small packs include various pack sizes ranging from ½ L containers to 20 L pails / drums after filling small packs upto 5 L are packed in cases. ½ L to 5 L containers of lubricants are filled on automatic filling line wherein the process involves placing the empty containers on filling line and ending with finished product packed in cases which have distinct price, mfg. date and batch no. mentioned on labels. In order to boost production and improve the production efficiency, on line printing of MRP, Mfg. date and Batch No. is enabled to reduce containers waste and enhanced product quality. This is achieved through Inkjet printers on the filling line which produces continuous print sensing each container time to time. The production is interrupted incase of printers breakdown and hence it is necessary to maintain the printers in healthy working condition.There are Four inkjet printers of M/s. Videojet on four different filling line viz. OCME 1 L, OCME 5 L, Mather & Platt Can Filling Machine, & Span Pack 5 head filling machine respectively. The production is interrupted incase of printers breakdown and hence it is necessary to maintain the printers in healthy working condition. There are 2 nos. of Carton Coder printers of M/s. Videojet Technologies Pvt. Ltd. on OCME 1 L filling machine.
