ISI-marked Electrical Insulating Mats, conforming to Class B and Category III, shall be manufactured from high-grade elastomeric compounds. T hese mats must feature anti-skid textured surfaces on both sides to provide adequate grip and ensure operator safety and stability during work on electrical e quipment. They shall be resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and low temperatures, making them suitable for harsh operating environments. The insulating mats ar e intended for use as floor coverings to protect workers operating on AC and DC electrical installations with system voltages up to 11 kV AC and 240 V DC. Each mat shall have a uniform thickness of 3 mm, a standard width of 1 meter, and be supplied in roll form. They must possess a minimum dielectric strength of 65 kV and a maximum leakage current not exceeding 10 microamperes. The material shall be flame retardant and exhibit high resistance to moisture, wate r, and transformer oil, ensuring long-term durability.
