The objective of the proposed assignment is to: (i) establish and manage the GIS-based smart urban planning mapping tools to address complex issues, seek for synergetic solutions, and improve transparent, multi-directional communications among various stakeholders, including authorities and the public, and facilitate investment roadmaps; (ii) recommend, select and prepare prioritized investment reports for cities- interventions; and (iii) transfer knowledge and build capacities to break siloed mentality and strengthen participatory and integrated urban planning, development and management. B. The proposed assignment will have three outputs: (i) ICT-based urban planning mapping tools developed and operational for Jodhpur and Nawalgarh; (ii) Priority urban investment reports for Jodhpur and Nawalgarh prepared; and (iii) Capacity of the state and urban local bodies for heritage-sensitive urban planning, development, and management strengthened.
