Gold Plated Silver Medal with silver purity 990.00 as per IS 2112:2014 embossed with I.R . logo on one side and Central Railway logo on the other side as per specification (copy enclosed). The medal shall be displayed on two Aluminum pillars. Other details as per drawing. 1] The medal with Alu minum pillars with high polished to attain the gloss should be kept in a closed plastic box containing th e medal should be removable one for further cleaning of the box and the medal. 2] The fitting of the me dal in the box may be placed in proper direction. 3] The colour of the silver medal should not be blacke ned due to passage of the time. 4] The satin cloth which is used as base where the gold plated medal is fixed in the plastic box should be red colour. 5] Thickness of gold plating on silver medal minimum 0.5 micron. Plus or Minus 2% tolerance in the weight will be allowed. 6] Inspection of silver grade to be don e as per IS 2112: 2014 and gold electroplating as per IS 3266: 1982 7] Tolerance, wherever not indicat ed shall be as per IS: 2102 Part I and Part II (Medium tolerance). 8] PVC is applicable as defined in the t ender document.
