Expression of Interest are invited for Developing a White Paper on Energy and Transport Transition for South Asia Region (SAR) Countries The objective of the study is to prepare a White Paper and accompanying presentation that would aim at developing a high-level (1) Energy (2) Transport transition scenario assessment for meeting SAR Countries, more specifically: Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal, development goals and decarbonization ambition by 2050, with the examination of timeframes for the peaking of CO2 emissions and the reduction achievable by 2050 under different pathways. A key consideration in this regard would be the structural costs of transition, investment requirement and modes of financing available to support this transition. skills The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services.
