Introduction.The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) seeks to develop inclusive digital economies in Uganda by strengthening the institutional capacity of Agribusiness SMEs to conduct sustainable business operations using digital solutions. The SME sector contributes significantly to Uganda's GDP, employment, and industrial output, with Agribusiness SMEs playing a pivotal role in value addition, job creation, and economic transformation. However, these SMEs face challenges such as limited access to finance, lack of reliable business records, and low adoption of digital technologies.The assignment aims to provide Agribusiness SMEs with digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy of business records, access to finance, and overall competitiveness. The solution is expected to improve efficiency in operations, processes, and practices, while promoting a more efficient value chain ecosystem.UNCDF invites proposals for the provision of a digital solution suitable for Agribusiness SMEs in Uganda.
