Conduct a study on the dynamics of selected sectors in a specific state to understand the ongoing practices in the area of promoting skilling and apprenticeship in Micro and Small Enterprises. The study will also develop the proposal for an overarching pilot initiative. The objectives of the study are: Identify innovative models for introducing apprenticeship in micro- enterprise clusters and design the same based on limitations of existing Act, rules, existing implementation guidelines in the cluster. Identify stakeholders such as worker unions, line departments for example department of handicraft etc, local associations for developing a plan for the conduct of pilot and recommendations on implementation.
