Bids are invited from the Recyclers of E-Waste(Electronic waste) registered with TN Pollution control board through GeM portal (online) for auction of Unserviceable obsolete IT(e-Waste)articles lying at State Bank of India, Overseas Branch, Chennai Branch, 86 rajaji salai, Chennai-600001, Tamilnadu-“AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”. The Bids will be received online through GeM only and shall be opened as per SOP of GeM.

Auction Detail: E WASTE ITEM DETAILS ATTACHED THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY FOR PARTICIPATING IN AUCTION. 1. The recycler should be authorized by the respective State Pollution Control Board. (Documentary Evidence to be submitted). 2. ONSITE DEGAUSSING SHOULD BE ENSURED IN PRESENCE OF BANK OFICIALS BEFORE COLLECTING THE HARD DISK / STORAGE MEDIA BY THE RECYCLER. 3. DEGAUSSING CERTIFICATE SHOULD BE PROVIDED BY THE RECYCLER. 4. THE DEGAUSSING CERTIFICATE SHOULD MENTION THE LIST OF ITEMS PURCHASED ALONG WITH THEIR WEIGHT BY THE RECYCLER. 5. THE RECYCLER SHOULD SUBMIT THEIR RETURN TO STATE POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD. 6. CONDITIONAL BID SHALL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. 7. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER WILL BE THE ONE WHICH OFFER THE HIGHEST TOTAL RATE FOR THE ENTIRE LOT OF SCRAP. 8. NO PART LIFTING OF THE ITEMS SHALL BE ALLOWED. 9. AT THE TIME OF GIVING ITEMS DELIVERY IF ANT ExCESS QUANTITY IS FOUND, PROPORTIONATE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT WILL BE MADE BY THE BUYER. Liquidated Damages and Penalties Description SLA Measure Liquidated damages To pick up e-Waste from the Banks location, To provide degaussing / safe disposal certificate to Bank and to make payment of order amount 15 days from the date of issuance of order 0.25% for each week of delay on the total value of order to dispose e-Waste subject to a maximum 4 weeks delay. Then Items will be retendered.
