This Expression of Interest (EOI) is for insurance companies to provide insurance for approximately 8000 horses/mules traveling on foot during the Shri Kedarnath Yatra year 2026. The insurance is mandatory for horse/mule owners to protect against financial loss. Interested insurance companies are invited to submit their one-year insurance premium rates as a percentage of the insured animal value, including GST. The selected companies will also be responsible for health check-up camps and must have staff available for quick settlement of insurance claims during the Yatra.
