The Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) shall be 4 Pole rated current 40 A, rated voltage 415 V AC, suitable for 5 0 Hz operation, conforming to IS 12640 (Part 1): 2008 / IEC 61008-1 :1996 or latest, and shall be ISI marked with valid BIS license. T he RCCB shall be of Type AC with rated residual operating current (IÎ”n) of 30 mA, having rated residual making and breaking capaci ty of 1000 A, rated conditional residual short circuit current (IÎ”c) of 10 kA, and rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV. The device s hall have IP20 degree of protection, electrical/mechanical life of not less than 10, 000 operations, and shall comply with EMC require ments. It shall be suitable for vertical mounting on standard DIN rail and shall be of instantaneous type (without time delay). The RC CB shall be provided with an in-built test button facility (marked "T") to verify the healthiness of the device by creating an artificial e arth leakage condition. Offers shall be accepted only from manufacturers or their authorized dealers, along with manufacturer's tec hnical datasheets. The supplier shall furnish type test reports from Central Government/NABL/ILAC accredited laboratories to prove conformity to the specification at the time of supply.
