One High volt age surge tester with features of ( i) pin point location of cable fault in LT/HT cables by acoustic method, (i i) Output surge voltage 4 kV, 8 kV & 16 kV, ( iii) Surge energy 1000J full energy at each range, (iv) Pre- locatio n of fault distance using ICM method coupling with pre-locator, ( v) pre-locaton of fault distance using SIM m ethod coupling with Arc reflection filter and pre-locator, (vi) Continuous operation for extended period in ca se of difficult faults, (vii) Fully protected operation with safety interlocks, (viii) Auto discharge facility, (ix) R ugged construction. 2. One Surge wave receiver with features of (i) pin-pointing of faults by acoustic & mag netic method, (ii) guiding through cable route, (iii) Dual channel LCD display denoting signal strength of ma gnetic & acoustic channel, (iv) No external noise under mute operation, (v) Battery check facility 3.
