Supply of super heater header for boiler assembly of X class locomotives as per SLM index No. X/4/9A Rev. (A). Material: Melescoloy iron, Cast ir on. Close grained of uniform good quality. Tensile strength-28, 000 lbs/sq.in. Material Test: Transverse test of 1250 lbs on a bar machined in accordance with BS 321. When loaded centrally between 12 inch supports the minimum deflection is not less than 0.125 inches. For equivalent material specification refer GO C/X/SPEC-X-032.NABL Approved Lab certificate should be supply along with the material for material composition and material test. Hydraulic Test: 360 lbs pe r sq.in on superheated and saturated compartments independently. Hydraulic Test certificate should be supplied along with material supply. The firm may coll ect the pattern for the above item from SSE/BS/GOC by duly submitting BG/TDR/FDR for the value of RS. 2, 45, 369 (Pattern cost) and return without any damag e along with the material.
