Stiffener plates shall be as per IS:3885 Part-2, Gra de-5 in annealed condition with hardness between 190-245 BHN. (2). 50% of stiffener plates shall have hol es with Pitch=100+-0.5mm and distance from edge = 25+-1mm, while remaining 50% stiffener plates shal l have holes with Pitch=90+-0.5mm and distance from edge=30+-01mm. (3). Hex Head bolt Shall be of re puted make: UNBRAKO, TVS, TUFF, CAPARO, STERLING, except LPS.
