Steel wire rope 18 mm dia with Steel core (as per clause 6.3.2 of IS: 6594/2001 or latest) 7 x 37 construction as per Drg No. S&T/BY/F-377 RHRL Dia of each wire of central strand 0.8 mm/ outer strand 0.8 mm containing Carbon 0.1 to 0.15% by weight. Tensile Strength should be 100-110 Kgf/sq mm Galvanized Type A (as per clause 3.1(b) (iii) of IS 1835/1976 or latest) freedom from defect confir ming to IS :6594/2001 or latest IS: 1835/1976 or latest IS 2266/2002 or latest with PVC Black sheathing of Type B as per clause 3.1(a) of IS 5831/1984 or latest of uniform 4mm (plus/Minus 0.2 wall thickness) confirming to IS: 5831/1984 or latest IS: 1554 (Part-2) / 1988 or latest packing in reel of 500 mtrs for SI EMENS AFTC Bonds.
