This work also includes covering of cables laid in the trench and backï¬lling, ramming, consolidation of soil as well as disposal of extra soil after cable is laid as speciï¬ed in guidelines on signalling cable laying given by RDSO and any latest circular issued by PCSTE/ECoR/BBS. NOTE : Before reï¬lling of trenches, the cable laid are to be tested and recorded for its insulation value and after satisï¬cation of site engineer the reï¬lling process should start and after monsoon the route is to be attended for backï¬lling of rain cuts, washout of soils wherever found.
