The entrance porch of the Head Office (HO) Dwarka building is a cantilevered Mild Steel (M.S.) structure finished with Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) cladding and integrated light vision panels. This area serves as the primary entry point to the main reception, housing the visitor baggage X-ray screening machines, and is frequently used by the Bank?s top executives and VVIPs. 2 To clean pigeon droppings from top of ACP sheet, housekeeping staff frequently walk over the porch. Due to this frequent movement, the joints of the ACP sheets open up and, during the rainy season, water gets trapped on the structure and drips from the bottom of ACP cladding. 3 As such Bank decided to Modify the porch structure to incorporate safe, designated access walkways for maintenance staff. Implementing robust, foolproof waterproofing and water-diversion mechanisms. Conducting a structural stability analysis to accommodate the installation of a new LED signage system.
