Dry bamboo safety stick of 2.5 meters length and 30-50 mm diameter, made from natural, fu lly dried bamboo, free from moisture, cracks, fungus, insect damage, and without any metal parts, is requir ed for emergency handling of fallen conductors in electrical installations. The bamboo shall be straight, ligh tweight, smooth, and free from splinters, with trimmed nodes. It should have a clean finish and must be sui table for use as a non-conductive emergency distancing tool. All sticks shall undergo visual inspection at su pply and defective pieces shall be replaced. ]
