Gold Plated Silver Medal with silver purity Grade 990.00 as per IS 2112:2014 embossed with I.R. logo on one side and R.D.S.O logo on the other side as per drawing and specification (copy enc losed). The medal shall be displayed on two Aluminium pillars. Other details as per drawing. 1. Weight of Silver medal 20 gm Plus/Minus 2%. 2.The medal with Aluminium pillars with high polished to attain t he gloss should be kept in a closed plastic box containing the medal should be removable one for furth er cleaning of the box and the medal. 3. The fitting of the medal in the box may be placed in proper dir ection. 4. The colour of the silver medal should not get blackened due to passage of the time. 5. The sa tin cloth which is used as base where the gold plated medal is fixed in the transparent plastic box shoul d be red colour. 6. Thickness of gold plating on silver medal minimum 0.5 micron. 7. Inspection of silver grade to be done as per IS 2112: 2014 and gold electroplating as per IS 3266: 1982. 8. Tolerance, whe rever not indicated shall be as per IS: 2102 Part I and Part II (Medium tolerance). 9. PVC is applicable a s defined in the tender document.
