Auction Detail: Disposal/Sale of Old Newspapers/Books/Magazines Old Newspapers/ Books/ Magazines be uplifted after measuring weight under supervision of nodal official and Caretaker, General Section at least twice in a month or whenever required. The rate quoted by the firm should be inclusive of all charges such as transportation, labour, goods etc. and all taxes required for rendering the service which will be valid during the whole contract period. Weighting machine, transport required to uplift Old Newspapers/ Books/ Magazines is to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. This office will not be responsible for any loss, destruction, damage or deterioration of old newspapers, books, magazines, etc. due to any cause happened during upliftment or after upliftment of aforesaid auction items. This office reserves the right to reject any quotation without assigning any reason thereof and has right to cancel the contract and forfeit the deposited amount in case of breaching of any terms and conditions. The contractor shall not deploy any person who is under the eighteen years of age. The contractor shall be responsible for payment of wages/settlement of dues of workers/employees engaged as per Labour laws and this office shall not be a party to any dispute between the contractor and worker/employees on this contract or otherwise. There would be no relationship between this office and labour so engaged by virtue of this contract. The bidder should give a certificate on their official letter head stating that the character and antecedents of the persons to be deployed for said work in this Office are duly verified by the Police Authorities. Valid ID proof of the person to also be attached. The contract is liable to be cancelled at any time for unsatisfactory performance of vendor or representative thereof or delay in lifting of Old Newspapers/Books/Magazines.
