Auction Detail: Terms & Conditions of Institute Food Shop No. II (Fruit/Juice & Associated Items) 01. The bidder should have proper registration for the job, including both GST and PAN numbers and three years’ experience in managing similar-sized institute cafeterias, private/public restaurants, and canteens/food shops. 02. The minimum monthly rent of Rs 15/-per square foot will be the starting bid price with an incremental bid value of Rs 1.5/-per square foot and the contract shall be for a period of 2 years extendable by one more year depending upon the performance of the caterer and approval from the competent authority. 03 The successful bidder shall have to deposit the full amount of rent in advance, however, the first-year instalment has to be deposited before taking possession of the shop and the full rent of the 2nd and 3rd year, one month before the start of the 2nd and 3rd year failing which the contract shall be annulled and security deposit forfeited. 04. The bidder is required to deposit EMD/ bid security of Rs. 20, 000/- pledged to Director, NIT Srinagar, in the form of DD / PGB / FDR. 05. The successful bidder shall have to provide a list of his employees to the Institute well in advance & in case of any changes, he shall intimate the same to the Institute management. All the workers of the cafeteria must be in proper uniform including shoes, caps/aprons, and hand gloves to be prescribed by the Institute. 06. The successful bidder shall have to deposit Rs. 50, 000/- (Fifty Thousand only) as security deposit before taking over the possession of the shop. Furthermore, the deposit shall be released upon completion of the contract. 07. The successful bidder shall have to enter into an agreement with the NIT Srinagar as per the terms & conditions of the NIT Srinagar on judicial stamp paper, duly signed by the first-class Magistrate. 08.
