For this Expression of Interest, the main focus will be on the use of RapidSMS for delivery of Early Infant Diagnosis and Viral Load test results. UNICEF Malawi therefore is seeking services of institutions to:
Relocate and integrate RapidSMS servers from UNICEF offices to Community Health Sciences Unit (CHSU) of Ministry of Health
Develop, test and deploy Viral Load result delivery system
Continuous technical capacity development and strengthening of national, district, facility champions in using RapidSMS to retrieve EID and VL results through training, mentoring and supportive supervision
Maintenance of the live system to ensure minimal downtime
Link RapidSMS with other laboratory systems for result synchronisation
Lead migration of results delivery module from RapidSMS to RapidPro
Monitoring and Evaluation Services for rapidSMS and other diagnostics services.
