Description : The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming tender exercise for the operation and management of the UN Fuel Station. Background information: The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) oversees the contract of the United Nations Fuel Station. The Fuel Station is a purpose-built, stand-alone facility providing duty-free fuel to international staff members, official organizations and the greater diplomatic community. The Fuel Station is located adjacent the United Nations Compound in Nairobi, Kenya. The outlet provides unleaded petrol and low sulphur diesel fuel for use in appropriately designated vehicles and for residential and official generators. The Fuel Station comprises of 5 underground fuel tanks of 30, 000 liters each, a large forecourt, a convenience store and office. The Fuel Station serves approximately 5, 000 vehicles per month and dispenses approximately 1, 970, 000 litres of Petrol and 1, 690, 000 litres of Diesel per year. UNON seeks expression of interest from suitably qualified and experienced firms that have the capacity to take on the management of the Fuel Station, and as such to perform the following tasks: 1.
