Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction of One Thousand (1000) Houses for Security Institutions Namely: Malawi Defense Force, Malawi Police Services, Immigration and Malawi Prisons.

The Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development budgeted in the 2019 / 2020 Fiscal Year, funds for the Construction of One Thousand (1000) Houses for Security Institutions namely: Malawi Defence Force, Malawi Police Services, Immigration and Malawi Prisons.

The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee, Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, now invites sealed bids from interested, eligible and qualified bidders who are currently registered in the MK 500 Million category and above with the National Construction Industry Council of Malawi as lots specified in the bidding document.

Interested bidders may obtain the Bidding document by paying a non-refundable fee of MFC 25, 000.00 at the Ministry's Headquarters located at Zowe House, Opposite UNDP Offices in the City of Lilongwe from 08:00 am to 12:00 noon and 13:00 to 16:30 hours from Monday to Friday. Method of payment shall be strictly cash in the Accounts Office only.

Bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting to be held in the Ministry's Conference Room on Wednesday, 8th January, 2020 at 9:30 am.
