The Region invests in research, with 10 million financed 75 projects Other Services

Seventy-five research projects financed for 100 percent of the amount requested, for a total of 10 million euros. They are the winners of the call for proposals for research groups, launched by the Lazio Region. The initiative involved over 530 participants in the projects, of which about half represented by women: 142 university professors, 267 researchers, 92 grant holders and 19 scholarship holders, consultants and technicians.

The scientific institutions that have seen their researchers and research groups participate and win the call are the universities La Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, Tuscia and Cassino; then Cnr, Enea, Infn, Ispra, Crea, Ingv, Ifo, Spallanzani and State Police-Scientific section.

Among the objectives recently centered by the Region in the field of research is the Lazio victory of the Enea call for the installation at the Centro Enea of ​​Frascati of the Dtt project: the largest worldwide scientific infrastructure on the future production of electricity, clean and safe, through nuclear power, with 500 million European investments and a forecast of 1,600 new jobs. But also the intervention of the Cultural Technology District, which provides for the use of 23.2 million euros for conservation projects and use of our historical, archaeological and cultural heritage.
