The P300-million worth of road repair and repair projects in the province of Cebu will be implemented by the Provincial Engineering Office next year.
In 2019, the PEO fund raised by 155.61 percent reached P240.72 million. This year, P94.17 million was used to fund the implementation of governance projects by Governor Hilario Davide III.
Provincial Engineer Hector Jamora said that the next year will be 25 kilometers to the Capitol road construction at the second, third, fourth and fifth districts in the province.
These roads are located in the cities of Argao, Alegria, Compostela, Balamban and Daanbantayan.
He said, the 25km radius of the highway is planned to be located in the second district because of its provincial roads high.
Jamora is said to be part of the roads that will pave the way for one city to another, a road to the national road and those areas with agricultural products.
Overall, it is 850 kilometers high on provincial roads in Cebu, but according to Jamora, it has not yet reached 50 percent. "There is a budget need," added Jamora.
It is expected that based on their estimates last year, more than P5 billion will be needed for the 500-kilometer road construction.
