Minister of International Cooperation and Investment Dr. Sahar Nasr affirmed that there is a consensus between Saudi Arabia and Egypt to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields, thus contributing to a qualitative leap in the relations between the two countries for the establishment of joint projects from government and private sectors in the coming years. "The recent visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Egypt has had the effect of achieving a qualitative shift in joint economic and investment cooperation through decisions taken by the Business Council between the two countries," she told the House of Representatives Economic Committee on Sunday. The Egyptian minister stressed that her government has taken several measures to encourage investment through the establishment of a package of customs and tax exemptions, and to establish procedures for investors to increase Arab and foreign investments.
