Public Service Procurement Canada is one of the department under Canadian Government. The legal name of the department is: Department of Public Works and Government Services and it is being headed by the current Minister Ms Anita Anand. The day to day operations of the department is managed by the deputy minister.

The department is mainly responsible for overseeing government's internal servicing and administration. The other responsibilities includes:

• Procurement for government departments
• Manage properties
• Manage treasury and accounting operations
• Act as a pay and pension administrator
• Act as integrity adviser
• Act as linguistic authority

The department owns and maintains large real estate and infrastructure assets like: Highways, Bridges, Dams etc.
