Portugal coordinates European project of 22 million euros Materials and Products

The "Smart4Health", a European research project in the area of Health, budgeted at 22 million euros, will be coordinated by Portugal. According to the National Agency of Innovation (ANI), the project, which aims to "promote personalized health solutions through the universal exchange of electronic health records," will be the responsibility of the professor professor of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the New University of Lisbon, Ricardo Jardim Gonçalves.

For Nova's researcher, who already coordinates another European project of 16 million, "Smart4Health" promises to change "the paradigm how health, wellness and care services are provided."

This project is part of the Horizon 2020 European Research and Innovation Program. Of the 22 million planned, four million, according to ANI, are the three Portuguese institutions involved in the project: FCT Nova, the Regional Secretariat for Tourism and Culture and the company Knowledgebiz Consulting.
