Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd secured two contracts with a combined value of RM205 million from Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and its subsidiary, Petronas Gas Bhd (PetGas).

The engineering construction firm said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia, saying that PetGas's wholly-owned subsidiary, Regas Terminal (Sg Udang) Sdn Bhd, awarded a contract involving engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the seawater system upgrade ( EPCIC), upgraded firewater residue and pressure control installation project in Melaka.

Meanwhile, Petronas's full-fledged subsidiary, PC Myanmar (Hong Kong) Ltd has contracted for Muhibbah for the EPCIC Yetagun acid gas project in Myanmar.

The local project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2020 while work in Myanmar is targeted for completion in the second quarter of the same year.
