This came during the meeting hosted by Qatar Chamber in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Tawar Al Kuwari, First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Seydou Coulibaly, Vice President of the Business Council of the Republic of Mali and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sera Consultancy. The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Ahmed Tijani Jacqueti, Ambassador of Mali to Doha. "The relationship between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Mali is well developed and the private sector can play a positive role in these relations," he said. Bin Tuwar stressed the importance of the delegation's visit to enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially as it highlights investment opportunities that attract Qatari business owners. He noted that the Chamber supports the State of Qatar's intention to strengthen cooperation with all countries of the world in the framework of its plans for economic diversification and the establishment of investments outside the country. He pointed out that the State of Qatar is interested in increasing its investments in Africa, stressing the support of the Qatar Chamber for this trend and that it is ready to encourage Qatari businessmen to invest in Mali and benefit from these opportunities.

For his part, the head of the financial delegation reviewed the opportunities presented by his country to the Qatari investors, which includes the international road project which links the financial capital of Bamako with the Senegalese capital of Dakar with a length of 055 km, where 70% of the Mali trade passes. 015 million euros, which would provide more than 351 hectares of land for the pulp With an estimated value of € 581 million. "The fourth project is to develop 100,000 hectares of arable land in the Niger River Delta for the establishment of an animal industrial agricultural project," said Sidu Coulibali, adding that the feasibility study for the project is available and does not require high costs due to the availability of labor, irrigation water and government facilities Exemptions, procedures and others. He noted that the fifth project is concerned with horticulture for vegetables and fruits on an area of ​​300 hectares with an annual return of 57 million euros.

The Qatari Ambassador to Qatar said that there are excellent relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Mali, and there are reciprocal visits at the level of the leadership of the two countries.

He explained that the State of Qatar has significant cooperation with Mali in the field of charitable work through Qatar Charity projects and the Qatari Red Crescent, and there are great efforts being made in this regard.
