The Al-Mafraq Governorate Council inaugurated on Wednesday the projects that were developed at the Al-Khansari Livestock Research and Rangelands Station within the budget of Al-Mafraq Governorate Council in the presence of the Chairman and members of the Governorate Council. Dr. Nizar Haddad, Director General of the National Center for Agricultural Research (NARC), praised the efforts of the Mafraq Governorate Council in supporting the projects of the National Center for Agricultural Research (NARC) in Al-Khanaziri and Khalidiya stations. He pointed out that the opening of the dairy milk pasteurization project, which aims to rehabilitate and train camels and livestock breeders on the best practices in pasteurization of camel milk, as a new initiative which increases the added value of their prices, as well as rehabilitating and training them on the best mechanisms for producing milk and cheese At the family and household levels. He said that the project will be of direct benefit to farmers, especially as Al-Khansari station is a specialized plant in livestock, while the Khalidiya Khalidiya station specializes in the research of saline crops using salt water and desalinated water, pointing out that the main objective is to maximize the benefit of the agricultural sector both vegetable and animal.
