Turnkey, sustainable data center module Delivery and construction of a turnkey, sustainable wooden data center module The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy e.V. (ATB) intends to build a sustainable Data center module (hereinafter referred to as the data center module) in wooden construction, taking into account various sustainability criteria (bio-based materials, natural refrigerant, energy efficiency, CO2 emission values, etc.) for local processing and storage and provision of scientific research and experimental data on a new ATB campus. The exact data center module location including maximum dimensions and media binding are already defined. The system is an independent, prefabricated IT infrastructure and intended for permanent 24/7 operation. It serves the secure, stable and energy-efficient provision of IT resources in the scientific environment. Goals: - Provide at least 208 height units (HU) for IT systems in an independent data center module - Secure and fail-safe power and air conditioning supply for the continuous operation of the IT systems - Use of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies - Implementation of an integrated Concept for fire protection, physical security and monitoring - design for maintenance-friendly and comprehensible operation.
