Description : Transportation of Health Commodities for 6 Regions (Central, Volta, Upper East, Greater Accra, Bono and Bono East)Chemonics International Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Chemonics”), under The Global Fund Ghana Regional Logistics Office (RLO), Last Mile Distribution (LMD) and Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS) Project, Ghana-Chem-3-2018, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision of health commodity transportation services in the Ashanti Region. The attached RFP contains all the necessary information for interested Offerors. The Global Fund Ghana Regional Logistics Office (RLO), Last Mile Distribution (LMD) and LogisticsManagement Information Systems (LMIS) Project is implemented by Chemonics International in Ghana. The Global Fund Ghana RLO/LMD/LMIS Project endeavors to supply Ghanaians with lifesaving pharmaceutical and medical supplies and simultaneously build the capacity of government organizations and agencies, health care facilities among others. The Global Fund Ghana RLO/LMD/LMIS Project as part of its support to Ghana-s Ministry of Health (MOH) and the GhanaHealth Service (GHS) to assure commodity security is collaborating with the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate (RHD) to implement last mile distribution (LMD) (i.e from the Regional Medical Stores (RMS) to selected service delivery points (SDP) and District Health Directorates (DHA)) within the region.
