Testing of meeting room displays for the “Modern Working World” project AOK Lower Saxony is redesigning workplaces, meeting rooms and common areas as part of the Modern Working World project. An essential part of this Modernization is the improvement of the comfort of use of meeting rooms. The occupancy or availability of the rooms should be clearly visible from the outside via digital door signs. To determine suitable solutions, the client carries out a Market research including a test. The aim of the test is to check the technical feasibility of the planned solution. The focus is on connecting meeting room displays to the existing room booking solution AURAS, which is based on Oracle Apex. The purpose of the test is to verify whether the hardware/software solution used is able to reliably receive, display and compare relevant booking and occupancy information with the existing one to synchronize system. In addition, different technical scenarios should be tested in order to gain insights regarding •the power supply (wireless or wired operation) as well •data transmission (wireless or wired). win.
