Tenders are invited for Kossodo Power Plant Strengthening Project.
Engineering, Supply of Materials and Equipment, Civil Engineering, Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of a 50 MW Power Plant Consisting of Diesel Generating Units Operating at HFO (Three or More) with Combined Cycle Option with a 3 to 5 MW Steam Turbine.
Short description of works:

Power plant

Engineering, supply of materials and equipment, civil engineering, assembly, testing and commissioning of a 50 MW power plant consisting of diesel generating units operating at HFO (three or more) with combined cycle option with a 3 to 5 MW steam turbine.

Evacuation system

Engineering, supply of materials and equipment, civil engineering, assembly, testing and commissioning of the grid connection system consisting mainly of a 15 kV substation, two (2) 90 kV bays and two (2) transformers 90 / 15 kV of power 70 MVA each.

Support Services for the first three years (O & M)

1.This tender notice follows the general procurement notice for the project published in the Burkina Faso Public Markets Review N ° 2099 of July 19, 2017, in the Daily Burkinabe Sidwaya N ° 8434 of June 28, 2017 and in the weekly Jeune Afrique N ° 2945 from June 18 to 24, 2017.

2. Burkina Faso has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to cover the cost of the Kossodo Power Plant Strengthening Project (PRCK), and intends to use part of the proceeds from this project. financing this contract. The disbursement of funds by the IDB will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement including the guidelines for procurement financed by the IDB. If the IDB does not agree otherwise, no party other than Burkina Faso may avail itself of the financing contract or have a claim against it.

The National Electricity Company of Burkina (SONABEL), project executing agency intends to select companies for the realization of this work.

3.The selection will be conducted in accordance with the procedures specified in the Guidelines of the Islamic Development Bank for Procurement of Goods and Works of May 2009, revised in February 2012; it is open to all applicants from countries that meet the criteria of source, as defined in these guidelines.

4. Eligible interested candidates may obtain further information and consult the tender document with the National Electricity Company of Burkina (SONABEL) (address below) of 8 hours 30 minutes. at 12 hours and 13 hours 30 minutes at 16:00 local time (UTC).

Interested candidates may purchase a complete set of the tender documents in French at the fixed and non-refundable price of Two hundred and fifty thousand (250, 000) CFA Francs, (i) in cash or by certified check from the Caisse du Head office on the 1st floor at the address indicated below, or (ii) by bank transfer to the account N ° BF0740100100000130020196 open to SOCIETE GENERALE BURKINA FASO on behalf of SOCIETE NATIONALE D'ELECTRICITE DU BURKINA.

The hard copy tender package may be removed at the address specified below upon presentation of proof of payment. Applicants who wish to do so may obtain the electronic version of the file by making a written request to the address indicated below.

The acceptance of any application file will be subject to the purchase of the file; Also, a copy of the purchase receipt will be attached to the offer.

5.The tenders, submitted in one original and four (4) copies in accordance with the instructions to tenderers, and accompanied by a tender guarantee of one billion (1 000 000 000) CFA Francs, must be submitted under envelope sealed at the address below no later than April 04, 2018 at 08:30 min local time (UTC) and must be clearly marked "Call for tenders for the completion of work to strengthen the Kossodo power station".
