Provide Support to a Range of Clean and Improved Cooking Solutions
Tanzania Clean Cooking Project (TCCP) is a project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) through the Swedish Embassy in Tanzania and has a total value of US$ 3.75m. The project, implemented by the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF), aims to catalyze the clean cooking sector in the United Republic of Tanzania by increasing access to cleaning cooking products and solutions in rural and peri-urban communities.
TCCP invites key stakeholders in the cooking energy sector in Tanzania, i.e., government institutions, sector associations, and development organizations, to refer potential companies to participate in the 2nd Call for Proposal for TCCP.
The project will provide support to a range of clean and improved cooking solutions, including:
Improved cookstoves that meet or exceed Tier 2 fuel use efficiency.i.e., thermal efficiency greater than 25%
Clean cookstoves and fuel solutions that meet the Tier 4 threshold for indoor emissions. This includes sustainable fuels, e.g., pellets, briquettes, bioethanol, biogas, and LPG.
