General Procurement Notice are Invited for Support to the Project Management Unit (PMU).

Guinea has obtained an amount of 54 million USD, in the form of loan from the Islamic Development Bank to finance the Sanitation Project of Conakry.
Objectives of the project To
contribute to the improvement of the health situation in the city of Conakry through the development of the built environment, the rational management of solid and liquid waste and the protection of the population and their property against floods and waterborne diseases.

Procurement of Goods and Works will be done in accordance with the Guidelines for Procurement Funded by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 revised in February 2012). Contracts for consulting services will be awarded in accordance with the Guidelines for Consultants for projects funded by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 revised in February 2012).
Goods Markets:
- Procurement of Rolling Stock, and Mining Equipment will be done by Open International Invitation to Tender
- Procurement of equipment for pre-collection and garbage collection will be done by Call for Tenders. Open International Offers
- Procurement for the supply of small bins of 200 liters will be carried out by National
Public Works Bidding :
- Procurement of works of construction of the rainwater drainage infrastructures of Matoto and Ratoma communes will be carried out by International Competitive Bidding restricted to IDB member countries preceded by pre-qualification.
- Procurement of construction works of the two fecal sludge treatment plants including the development of the access roads will be carried out by International Competitive Bidding restricted to IDB member countries
- Procurement of Works of Rehabilitation of the Mining will be carried out by International Call for Tenders limited to the member countries of the IDB
Selection of Consultants:
- Consultancy services for the preparation of APDs, DAOs and works supervision will be procured through a competitive bid using a shortlist of consulting firms from IDB member countries, using the QBSA method.
- The selection of consultants for the Information Education and Communications (IEC) activities will be done through the selection method based on quality and cost (QCBS) among a restricted list of local firms.
- The selection of the consultants for the financial audit of the project will be done by the least cost selection method (SMC) from a shortlist local firms.
