Tenders are invited for Support Project for the Development of Oncology Services.

Following the General Procurement Notice (AGPM) relating to this project published in Jeune Afrique n ° 2871 dated 17 January 2016 and in the local newspaper La Nation dated 17 and 18 January 2016, the Ministry of Finance Health has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank to cover the cost of the Oncology Services Development Support Project, and intends to use part of the funds allocated to fund training services. The Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Ministry of Health invites eligible training centers to express their interests in order to provide the services defined above.
Interested training centers must provide information on their ability and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable missions, availability of adequate skills among their staff, etc.). Experience and resources in the following areas or tasks will be considered a minimum requirement for the mission:
(i) Oncology Hospital Education for Adults and Children;
(ii) Approved training program for the above disciplines;
(iii) Qualified teaching staff in each field (radiation oncology, medical physics, radio manipulator, preventive maintenance engineer for ionizing radiation equipment, nurses, medical oncologist, pathologist, pain registry specialist), integrated to clinical practice;
(iv) The center must have the following technical infrastructures:
1. Teletherapy:
i. at least one linear accelerator
ii. at least one unit of cobalt 60.
2. Intracavitary radiotherapy (brachytherapy) with installation of an arch.
3. Simulator processing various modifications (with the radiation generator and the CT simulator).
4. Treatment planning system or access to computerized treatment planning.
5. Installation of mold room.
6. Equipment for dosimetry and physical quality assurance.

Training centers can express their interests in the form of an association, validated by an agreement between the partners of the association, clearly indicating the type of association, that is to say a group of centers, a form intermediary association or an intention to subcontract.

The selection will be in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants for projects financed by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition, revised February 2012), available on the Bank`s website. at www.isdb.org .
