Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply of Electronic Meters for the Standardization of Illegal Connections in Conakry.

1. The Government of the Republic of Guinea has obtained IDA funding of 50 million US dollars and AFD funding of 50 million euros to finance the Access Improvement Project. Electricity in Guinea (PAAEG) whose objective is to increase access to improved electricity services in the metropolitan region of Conakry and to improve the operational performance of the Société Electricité de Guinée (EDG). It intends to use part of this financing to make payments under Contract No. 01 / PAAEG / EDG / F / 2020 relating to the supply of 100, 000 LV post / prepayment electronic meters with pre-assembled counting boxes and pre-wired in favor of the Project Management Unit. 3. The Project Management Unit solicits closed offers from eligible bidders who meet the qualifications required for the supply of the following electronic equipment and services:
- Supply of 99, 500 pre-assembled modular single-phase BT post / prepayment electronic meters and pre-wired in boxes with circuit breakers and protective fuses;
- Supply of 500 LV electronic post / monoblock three-phase prepayers pre-assembled and pre-wired in boxes with circuit breakers and protection fuses;
- Supply of 99, 500 single-phase connection circuit breakers;
- Supply of 500 three-phase connection circuit breakers;
- Supply of boxes to house the customer interface units and differential connection circuit breakers;
- Supply of data extraction equipment and meter configuration;
- Supply of accessories necessary for the installation and fixing of the counting equipment.

The procedure will be conducted through international competition using a Call for Tenders (AO) as defined in the “Regulations applicable to Borrowers - Procurement in the context of Financing of Investment Projects of the World Bank ("The Procurement Regulations"), and open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Procurement Regulations
