1 Background:
Energizing Development-EnDev is a program implemented in more than 20 countries and on three continents (Africa, Asia and Latin America) by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), whose objective is to ensure that “the inhabitants of the project region have better access to a sustainable, modern, reliable, affordable, socially responsible and environmentally friendly energy supply”.
As part of the promotion of renewable energies, the project has signed a memorandum of understanding with the World Food Program and Plan International for the implementation of a pilot project in two schools in the Kissidougou prefecture.
The E-HGSF (Energizing Home-Grown School Feeding) project initiated by the WFP is an innovative approach aimed at integrating energy services into school canteens and which aims to improve food storage and cooking conditions. 2 Objective:
The general objective is to select a qualified company in the photovoltaic solar field, with the aim of supplying superior quality solar equipment and installing them in compliance with the standards in force.
Specifically:
· Supply of photovoltaic solar equipment
· Installation and integration of photovoltaic solar equipment supplied and installed by the company in the building (school canteen);
· Produce a user manual of the installed system for users
· Train users on the handling and preventive maintenance of installed equipment;
Document the different steps of the installation process (electronic and hard forms).
Register the installed photovoltaic system with the "EnDev Collect" application.
3 Modalities
The company sought must be based in Guinea, of great renown and have good experience with international companies and institutions in the field of cooperation. They must be structured, and also have a staff of quality and good character.
