Expression of Interest are invited for Supply and Installation of Currency Protection Devices.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION The Swaziland Development and Savings Bank t/a SwaziBank is a government parastatal established by the King’s Order in Council No. 49 of 1973. The Bank operates as a development and commercial bank. The Bank has a mandate to handle customer cash transactions, ie, receive cash (from) and pay out cash to customers through its branch network and through the Auto Teller Machines. 2. PURPOSE OF THE TENDER The Bank seeks the services of a reputable and approved service provider to install Currency Protection Devices to deter criminal attacks on ATMs. The Currency Protection Devices must be designed to stain the banknotes with an indelible dye or ink thereby reflecting the dye stained banknotes as the proceeds of crime.6. INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS (a) Tenderers shall pay a non-refundable tender fee of E350-00 payable to SwaziBank Account Number: 77000000310 at any SwaziBank Branch. The Proof of Payment must attached to the Tender Document. (b) The Technical Specifications shall availed to tenderers who pass the preliminary assessments and they will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Tenderers must note that this is a regulatory requirement and they must ensure that the representative handling this process has the right level of technical understanding to respond to any questions should there be a need.
